== About
Grandmaster Simon Hu was born in Shanghai in 1956. He began his training in the martial arts in 1968 when he was 12 years old, studying under both legendary martial artist Grandmaster [[Wang Zi-Ping]] (1881~1973), and Grandmaster (Professor) [[Wang Ju-Rong]].

Grandmaster Hu was also trained by eminent Chinese Tai Chi Masters, such as Master [[Gu Liu-Xin]] and Master [[He Bin-Quan]].

With over 30 years of teaching experience, Grandmaster Hu has become an expert in all the major styles of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Kung Fu. He teaches: [[Zhen-Yuan Tai Chi]], [[Therapeutic Chi Kung]], [[Chen Style]], Tai Chi, [[Xin Yi Chuan|Xingyiquan]], and Northern Shaolin Kung Fu & Self-Defence. In particular, Grandmaster Hu specializes in [[Zhen Yuan Tai Chi]].

Today, Grandmaster Hu is an endorsed 3rd-generation descendant in the [[Wu Yi Jie He]] lineage (Chinese Martial Arts & Chinese Medicine Combined Teaching System), founded by one of China's historical heroes, Northern Shaolin Grandmaster [[Wang Zi Ping|Wang Zi-Ping]]. His daughter, Grandmaster [[Wang Ju Rong|Wang Ju-Rong]] succeeded him; she was the first woman to become a professor in China.

* The current lineage successor of [[Wu Yi Jie He]] is the granddaughter of the founder, Grandmaster [[Helen Xiao Rong Wu|Wu Xiao-Rong]].
